Boring Christmas :( I thought Christmas was gonna be eventful but guess what? Mom destroyed my plans. She woke Zel &I up just to have lunch & help her finish cleaning up the room. Basically, it isn't about the room. It's my bursting closet. It was extended to the living hall. Yeh seriously, what the heck is that huh? The new clothes I've gotten from Bangkok does not have enough storage space & hangers to hang them. And if you don't know, my mom is choosy & very organised. My hangers are all either blue, black or transparent. She kept chanting: Stop buying clothes, time to clear those old ones. No more hanger for your clothes ah! Solution 1: Buy more hangers. But the thing is, we can't find the exact same hangers in stores anymore. It's really annoying, is it not? :(

We rummaged through the closet and found Zel's dresses & my skirts that we do not want anymore. Mom suggested that we should sell it online. So I spent the afternoon taking pictures & measurements. After that, we went to have dindin with aunts + uncles + Laojie.

Love is a verb, here in my room.

Five days in Bangkok was spent beautifully with the family. Shopping was fruitful :) All those $5 dresses we got was so worthy though we shopped 'til we had to get Counterpain to rub on our feets. What made it more worthwhile was the ones who went with me; Mom, Dad & Zel. Maybe not so much of Zel (taha, bleah we argued so much k), more of the two old folks. Awfully great parents cum lifetime atms slash wallets ;)

First Day?
We arrived at Bangkok at around 5pm. Dad called for the hotel limousine which caused us 1500฿ which is about S$60. When Dad mentioned limousine, I was stupid enough to think that it would be that kinda limousine. But who knew? It was just a Merz cab! :( Sitting in there was really cozy & comfortable. I always liked sitting in Merz cab. When we got to out hotel, Mom needed to get some toiletries so we walked to MBK’s Watson while Dad does the checking-in of hotel. I bought a graphic top at a nearby shop after that :D I remember Sass telling me that “that kinda shirt is very you”. After we got everything done, we had dinner at CiTi BiSTRO. I had fried rice, Mom & Dad shared a plate of Thai fried noodles while Zel had club sandwich. Four of us shared two bowls of Tom Yam Goong (Tom Yam soup!). It was helluva spicy but tasty for sure. I wanted Apple Martini but ugh I was too full for it. After dinner, we went up to the room. The first step into the room was WOW. I didn’t know we were staying in a executive suite! It was fabulous. I bounced on the bed & went on to check out how the whole suite was like.

Second day?
The next day, we had light breakfast at the club lounge. Shopping was next :D We took a BTS down to Chit Lom station & walked to the temple. After praying, we walked to Central World (which was formerly known as World Trade Center). I wanted a pair of red pumps from Baby Love but it was too expensive :( S$80! We didn’t buy much & went off to our next stop, Platinum Fashion Mall! We bought so much! Omg, dad had a bagpack with him and it was so fat. He left it on the floor while choosing clothes so I sat there & tried to carry. I couldn't stand up with the weight of the bag on me! It's waaaay too heavy. Spent the whole day there :)

Third day?
It's like a lingerie day. I bought 3 cutsie sets of lingerie :) We spent the entire day at Emporium. I bought some stationaries too. My favourite :) Had lunch at the food court. Omg itz dah bombxxx. I heard there's Heads or Tails at CK Tangs, I'm so excited. I have to check it out. Had dinner at a distant relative's restaurant & they speak Teochew. Phew, thank God they could understand what I was saying. It was really like a test okay! Hahaha. Cabbed back to our hotel & went to walk around at MBK until it closed.

Forth day?

Woke up extra early to go Baiyoke Sky. The weather is a killaz. Fucking 38 degrees, burning hot! Bought 4 boyfriend shirts there, two skinny belts & I cannot remember what else. Walked out & realised it's just in front of Platinum Mall! We walked by the overhead bridge & realised we didn't actually walked that area yet. Bought more clothes, omg haha! After an hour or two, mom suggested that we drop by the tailor's to get daddy's shirt & pants before we forget to collect & fly back home, and after that we'd go Central Chit Lom for lunch & more shopping. So we did. FoodLoft was so crowded. But I like the place. I had so much food to choose from, I really don't know what to eat so I had pizza :) Yumyum! Didn't bought much at Central. Just lingerie again :) Heh I bought like, 6 sets this trip!

Went back at around 6plus. Zel wanted to go swimming while mom & I had to pack the luggage. Mom was telling me about the bra cup size & all, it was damn funny! Too much of adult content, not for you little kiddos ;) HAHA. After they got back from the pool, we went to the Japanese restaurant at MBK to have dinner. Fucking cheap Jap food & goooooood yummilicious food!

Fifth day?
One of the saddest & worst day. We rushed like fuck to get everything we wanted from MBK. What made it worse was we didn't have enough cash. Dad was afraid we might not enough money for cab fare & such. So mom said we have to look front and not side 'cos if we do, and we spot something, we'd just buybuybuy. Super broke! Haha. Managed to buy what B's mom wanted though. So I'm pretty happy. Dad got us a limousine to get us to the airport as most cabs can't fit our luggage :( Arrived back in Sg at 8pm, got home, unpacked, talked t B & slept.

Today?
Spent time at Aunt's place. Celebrated Jermaine's birthday & Christmas together. Had a feast! Great food man. Everyone was here :) It's good to see everyone again. We exchanged gifts through some lucky draw, haha. Fun shit we do every year! Pictures with my aunt, I'll get her to send me.


Christmas is coming, I cannot wait :) At the same time, I'm dreading it as well. I know I wouldn't be spending it with B :( and I haven't gotten everyone's present yettttttt! Ugh, I haven't seen the girls in the longest time :( Miss them so much. I'm dead beat, I shall go to bed. Nightnight :)

Work was fab yesterday :)
We found about 11 articles in total! The best day everrrrrrrr. At around 4plus, we got chased out of the room because we were the ones who used for the longest period of time. Suckersss. We went to sit around and talk 'til about 5plus & went home. I love home-cooked food.

I went for dental this morning :) The dentist is a very nice person, eh! :D No pain at all, lovely. Work isn't that productive today but we found about 3 articles. After we finished 16 tapes, we went to the laptop corner to surf net. B told me stories about her ex schoolmates. Ohmy, daring bunch! After that, we took a bus down to Plaza Sing. Grabbed a bite, took a train & went home.

It's 12th today. Aunt Edna's going home on the 15th. I'm pretty upset about it but on a lighter note, she is coming back on the 18th of Jan. A month without her :/ I'd miss her.

I don't know what to blog about, blehblehblehbleh.

It's work again tomorrow. I want black stockings :( Momma say she have it but in the end, she found out that it's leggings :( Mom told me to get it at Metro tomorrow. But I want to wear it tomorrow!! Tskkkk. B's coming over tomorrow! Okay, I'll watch a bit more & go off to bed. Nightnight, lovelies :)

Hey, the fat momma's home! :)

Well, Bangkok was great :) I spreed like nobody's business. Went there with ฿10,000, got another ฿5,000 from Laojie, back home with ฿1,240. I thought I had none left but who knew! I kept ฿1,000 for airport tax, ฿240 was from the VAT refund. How annoying! I couldn've gotten that Levi's flats :(

I'll show y'all what I've gotten from Bangkok. I didn't spend a lot on myself. I spent more on food & toiletries!

On the first day, after we arrived, Uncle came to pick us. We had lunch at his restaurant. Yummy lunch! Omg I love the food there, seriously. After that, we went to their office. Uncle drove us to our hotel after sitting around for awhile. Once we're done unpacking our luggage, we took a train (which is BTS instead of MRT like how we say it in Sg) to Chit Lom. We first went to pray at the four-faced Buddha temple, asking for peace & safety. Ever since Laojie met into some dirty things there, I was terrified. I always believed that we should pray whenever we are there. Then, we went off to shop at Central World :) After shopping for about 3 hours, we went to have ice cream at Baskin Robbins!


Bad bad bad lightings.

We went over to the Big C supermarket after we're done with our ice-creams. I spent ฿1,000 there. Seriously, don't ask me what did I buy 'cos I do not know either. ฿1,000 is equivalent to SGD$40. I wish I was kidding. My receipt came out, when compared with Aunty Jo & Laojie, omg mine was the longest! I didn't think it was a big deal until the next day.

Went back to our hotel, left our shopping bags there & went to have dinner at MBK. We had Japanese food for dinner! :D Guess what? We each paid about $8 for the meal. We each had a bento set, ordered fried tofu & ebi fry. In total the bill came up to be about $8 for each person. We went O.O when the waitress told us it was ฿700+ Dirt cheap, no?

A pity Singapore doesn't have Loft :( I love the things there! It's really expensive but their things are mighty adorable :) Especially the pillow covers, they are love!

Second day, we had breakfast at the hotel. After wasting about 45 minutes, at around 10am, we went to the train station. Took the BTS down to Phrom Phong & headed to Emporium! Bought lingeries :) Lovely. Super cute! I bought a shocking pink one by Sloggi. I don't know why but I just like it. It's new in stock and it costs about $25 only!! Cheap cheap. I bought two others from Sabina. It's kiddish but I like! Heh.

Had lunch at the food court. We had Heads or Tails :) It is something that you can never missed, really. The bread is super crunchy. I love how they spread the butter on the toast. It's amazingly fast, no joke.

I bought a pair of Levi's skinny jeans :) My first pair, in fact. I don't see why one must/need to have a pair of branded jeans. For me, as long as they are comfy, I give no shit to what brand that is. I bought the dark blue one! I never liked faded blue jeans. Haha 'cos I feel that it's for construction workers :/ Okay no offense to those who wears or like it!

Siam Paragon!

They had some function going on :)

After that, we took the BTS to Siam. Went off to Siam Paragon to shop. Aunty Jo was looking for her dog's stuff while Laojie & I were busy looking for that particular cookie shop :D We spent eons looking for it & when we got there, we found out that cookies were sold out :( Walked through Siam Discovery Centre then to MBK then to our hotel :) It's so cool! It's all linked, heh.

Left our shopping bags in the hotel room. Went off to Coca to have dinner. On our way their, Aunty Jo got a call from Uncle Jerrone (Daddy's youngest step-brother, which is Aunty Jo's younger brother) that Mickey (their pet dog) passed away. Aunty Jo cried :/ Laojie & I felt so bad. She made so much calls back to Singapore while walking to the restaurant. Mickey has been with them for 19 years! He's blind, can't pee on its own, its paws has already worn off. Laojie told her that it is a burden less for Aunty Jo and it also shorten Micheky's sufferings. I'm glad though. At least Aunty Jo need not worry herself all day at work about Mickey anymore.

We had steamboat + a plate of roast duck + a plate of prawn pancake = $6/person
Fucking cheap, no?! Tell me whereas in Sg can you have that kinda food at this kinda price! Okay right now, I'm craving for steamboat.

Third day, had breakfast. Took the BTS down to Chit Lom again. Headed to the temple again 'cos we were leaving the next day so I thought we should probably thank God for protecting us the past few days. Walked down to Platinum Mall. Bought a shimmery top & a black dress! We had ice-cream at Swensen's Ice-cream Parlor & headed off to Central World. Aunty Jo needed to get stuff. After that, we went to Central Chit Lom :) My fav place! Heh. Bought lingeries again :)


At BTS National Stadium station.

Went back really early. We were lazy to go down to have dinner. And adding on, we all were broke! Haha we first decided to have KFC for dinner to cut cost but we were too lazy. So we ordered room service! Heh. Fried rice + 2 club sandwiches! I love club sandwiches. We watched 3 movies that night :D Maid in Manhattan, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Fantastic 4! Haha Aunty Jo went crazy after dinner. She sang songs that didn't make sense! It made Laojie & I laughed so hard. We were supposed to push the cart out of the room so that the bellboy can collect it. The cart came in folded as it was too big to get through the door, the bellboy unfold it so that we can eat on the cart.


We finished up everything :D


Seriously, it was hilarious! We couldn't stop laughing. There's more than just these. 4 days with her was super relaxing 'cos she makes you laugh like no tomorrow.

Forth day, we had breakfast at the hotel again. Went to shop a little after that. Bought 5 boxes of donuts from Dunkin' Donuts! Fab♥ It only cost $25! Went back to the hotel room as it was still early. Watched MTV throughout the whole afternoon 'til Uncle came t pick us. I got a little bored, I started jumping on the bed. And Aunty Jo mentioned that I was trying to make full use of the insurance I bought. Hahah!

Uncle came at around 0130pm. We came in 3 luggages, back in 6!



This happens whenever we go Bangkok to shop!

I went into the car & poof! Off to sleep. I was super tired. Aunty Jo fell asleep too. Got to the airport, got our things done. Checked in & went to collect our VAT refund. We got $60 back! Coolio. So we went to have Chinese food at the airport then went to eat at Burger King. They have got chicken wings meal yknow! And it's really nice. We were cravin' for fries, that's why we went over to BK to eat again :D Got into the plane & watched movie! Called baby once I touched down :D 13 people came to pick 3 people home from the airport - How honoured! Went home, showered, unpacked my luggage & talked to baby!

In total, I watched about 5 movies during this trip: I Now Pronounce You Chunk & Larry, Underdog, Maid in Manhattan, Fantastic 4, My Super Ex-Girlfriend :) I officially fall in love with StarMovies channel. It has great movies, omg. I shall try to ask dad if he can subscribe that channel for me :D

Tuesday 131107
B came over in the morning. Passed her the things I bought for her. 3 casual tee, 1 RL shirt + a bag of hand-picked cards for her sister. Auntie made lunch for us both - Spaghetti! Made B wait for donkey hours before I left the house. Went Plaza Sing to get some stuff for mom. Bought my PSP! :D Berri excited.

I had the worse night, worrying that I might get conned by the lady who sold me the PSP.

Wednesday 141107
Stayed home all day to clean up the study room, the book shelve & the store room, making more space for storage. In other words, I can buy more barang-barang! :D Met B later at 4pm. Collected my prom dress at Far East. My phone's having some problems :( Can't receive texts/calls, ugh. Some shit happened at home. Cried in public, how embarrassing :/ It isn't the first time anyway. Had dinner at Long John's! Had a nice long walk to Plaza Sing with B :) Took the train home, after that.

Thursday 151107
I was home all day :) I needed to clear my stuff. B went to school, then off to Jill's advanced birthday celebration. Got my memory card for the PSP! Two games missing :( The lady said she'd replace the two games for me when I'm back from Taiwan the week after next. I'm still very excited :D

Cleared a lot of my things in the noon. Realised that I kept so much junk in my drawers, they are bursting! I threw away quite a bit. Textbooks + notes are kept in a box, up in the store room. It made the study room much more neater now :D

Dad talked to me. He teared. I cried. He's a man of a few words. This time, he spoke more than I did. What touched me deeply + hurt me + made me felt that I was a letdown to them at the same time was when he said, 'You know.. You're the daughter that I love most. It hasn't change & it would never change. Daddy wouldn't sacrifice so much for you. Like what I told you recently, when you had a flu, I (censored).' Ouch. I'm sorry Daddy. Repent is what I'm going to do next. You just wait & see :)

Friday 161107
Godma's birthday today. Sent a bouquet of flowers to her :) Morning, Auntie & I went over to her place to pass her her presents. Godma sent me to Bishan but it was too late :/ Supposed to dye my hair at Aunt Brenda's saloon :( Took 156 home instead. Played Metal Slug throughout. I was so engrossed in the game, I almost missed my stop haha!

Miss April Koh went New Zealand today. I'm a lonely tonight.. on MSN.

Went home to rest. Talked to mum while she was having lunch. Complained a hell lot to her, pfft. Left the house at 0340pm, took a train to City Hall. Walked to B's school & met her there. We went to Far East to buy the black croc belt I've been eying on. I see a lot of nice clothes that I wanna buy but :( I'm completely penniless! Ugh. Walked to Wisma. Walked around, went Taka. Took a bus to PS 'cos B wanted to have Cafe Cartel for dinner. The fickle-minded her decided that she wants to eat at her favourite hawker center near her school. I mentioned to her earlier on that she'd make the decisions tonight for dinner 'cos I'm sick of being the one coming up with what to eat, where to go, what to buy. Walked to the hawker center. It was packed with humans! Dinner time, so can't blame. Ate & went to City Hall. Wanted to look for identical pouches for B's & my PSP but it was too late. Shops are starting to close. Went Aldo to look at accessories, then to Accessorize. B bought me a necklace! Took a train home after that :)

Okay, I'm slow. I don't know if everyone of you have already read about this but I still wanna mention. This is obviously not the right way to treat elderly! I was so effin' pissed but there's nothing much we can do about it. The elderly was nice, he didn't wanna pursue the matter anymore. He didn't know that he was videoed. The two tourists mentioned that the trishaw is the slowest taxi in Asia. !!!! I cannot stand it. They do not know how to appreciate such things then jolly well shut up. I love trishaws, they are so cute! :(


Okay, it's getting late. I'm going to dye my hair tomorrow. Brown for me! Haha. I'll highlight another day. Meeting Sassy tomorrow for kBox :) Gonna buy the pair of matching earrings from Accessorize! I love the glittery clutch. I might buy it, I'll consider. Shall go talk to baby, play the psp for a little while & off to bed. Goodnight :)
